The Newport Coast is one of the most sought out destinations for visitors and residents in the United States. From beautiful ecological wetlands, high-end shopping, to world-class beaches, this community demands a level of sophistication with its own signature style. Retained by TCA Architects, a long-term design partner of Chrestensen Design, we provided a comprehensive branding and signage design program for One Uptown Newport, a premiere multi-family development nestled close to Fashion Island and adjacent to the Back Bay Reserve. We created multi-dimensional exterior signage, wayfinding elements, navigational graphics, interior signage and promotional messaging to brand "Uptown" accordingly with a distinctive voice. A carefully selected color, material, finish and iconography library was developed for visual consistency throughout the property. Important restrictions such as setbacks and allowable square footage were researched and adhered to early in the process. Working with selected fabricators and installers, a level of quality control was ensured every step of the way to bring the vision to life.
