Serving as a long-established consultant for Legacy Entertainment, our team worked simultaneously on two large themepark projects in Asia. Chimelong's Hidden Kingdom in China, and Lotte's Magic Forest in Korea are different in content, character and size, but both required very specialized solutions. We handled various branding efforts, signage development and attraction design specific to each theme and style, and provided full schematic design packages in order to facilitate fabrication. Over the course of two years concepts were reworked and evolved into what is under construction today. This boasts some of the most compelling story-telling parks in the far-East, and challenged the engineering efforts of what can be built. "Wild Hippo Falls" consists of a giant mountain raft drop, the "Giant Digger" is an accelerated short track coaster, and the "Animal Carousel" features a triple deck rotating attraction. A variety of "Flat-rides" were designed for each park, and aptly themed per zone. Partnered with Legacy, we created 5 area set designs, 16 attractions, 48 logo designs, and 388 signage design elements to ensure successful identification, wayfinding and navigation.
